This is a Rose Wind, a graphic tool used by meteorologists to illustrate wind directions. These are the winds of the Mediterranean, the names are in Foreign. They are called by different names depending on the country. Per example, in Italy Lebeche is called Lebeccio; in France Tramontana is called Tramontane, and so forth.

This is an illustration of the winds Aang is thinking about in chapter 31 of the fanfic A Matter of Honor [link] .

I don't own neither the concept of a Rose Wind, nor the Winds. I wish I did. I would be the most amazing Goddess of the Winds out there: only breezes, the wind always at your back and localized hurricanes only if I get really upset because of the lack of devotion from sailors and aviators alike.

Heh heh. Mild winds, eh? How about winds in places like Mississippi, where they sure as heck don't get enough wind?
Just kidding^^.

Oh, okay. So this is the part where I smile or nod or make a face....

Whatever it is, I'll jus pretend it's true and that I care^^.

I'm a very sweet person. ;D

OH!! If I become a Goddess of Breezes and Winds I will totally fill Mississippi with love. I've never been there so I have no idea how badly the wind situation is up there ... (up there b/c I live south of the US...)

I'm from Latin America, yes. Historically, my country is South American, politically it belongs to Central America but culturally it's Caribbean ... so you see, a lot of crazy in one single little place!

I'll give you a clue, we only have one dormant volcano and it's called Baru. Let me know if you guess!

You are warm!

Next door to it! To the right of the CR border ... and if you take into account that all these countries have Caribbean shores, then yes, we are close to Puerto Rico, and all the Caribbean islands. :-) Well done!
